Il film esplora la permanenza del mito e del sacro laddove le comunità hanno subito lo sradicamento e l’abbandono, attraverso il racconto delle scelte radicali e solitarie dei protagonisti, gli ultimi guardiani dell’Arca. Un poema visivo, un mosaico di narrazioni e visioni, che restituisce il rapporto ancestrale tra la gente e i suoi luoghi, la resilienza epica e allo stesso tempo fragile, che accomuna i protagonisti.
The film explores the permanence of myth and the sacred in a location where communities have suffered uprooting and abandonment, through the story of the radical and solitary choices of the protagonists – the last guardians of the Ark. A visual poem, this is a mosaic of narratives and visions, which renders the ancestral relationship between the people and their places – the epic and at the same time fragile resilience that unites the main characters.
